  1. I like the opening shot on the door, although you might want to watch the "shaky-cam" (unless you're going for a documentary effect) - the starting sequence would have benefited from cutting between three or four shots rather than a continuous take (unless you could manage a fluid tilt/ pan, which is do-able). Good reverse with the second shot - neatly edited, although you might want to watch the framing. The third shot breaks the 180 rule, if you watch carfully; ideally, you would have been positioned on the other side of the door to make the edit work. There is a glitch with the subsequent shot - this would work better if you followed smoothly or cut to a reaction shot of Chloe noting Holly's arrival. The fade after Holly sits down is an odd choice, since it implies the passage of time, yet no time seems to have passed - you might have been better just to cut straight to the next shot. The shot/ counter-shot works well, and you maintain the 180 degree rule. You may want to look at the framing, since Chloe's head is slightly cut off. You could look also at cleaning up the audio; using cross-fades could make it sound more smooth. The reverse when Holly exits is well done. Again, there is an odd fade when Holly enters the red door - I would have cut straight to the MS of the door opening, since it seems to happen in "real time". This also breaks the 180 rule (Holly exits left and enters right). Some good framing, but watch the zooms - they often look a little juddery (the zooms on the cameras are not very smooth). I would always err on keeping the shot static, or practising a camera move a few times (you can loosen the tripod head if you need a slick movement). The sequence with Holly sorting out her MP3 player would benefit from being edited down - you could do this as a montage. In general, the continuity techniques were done reasonably well (apart from the 180 degree rule issues mentioned above) and there were some inventive uses of framing and sound.

  2. Good use of music and really clear dialogue. It was a bit shacky in one shot, but really good Movie. Very good Shot / Reverse Shot:)

  3. This was well shot and well directed all of the shots were there and they were done well. One improvement would be to have more of a storyline to the video but otherwise well done a good video.

  4. A very nicely shot piece with all the required areas for the task and great use of shots. However a more detailed narrative would have been a nice addition but still, great movie.

  9. I like the music and the storyline looks good. There was no contiunity errors. The music was very loud compared to the dialogue which made it hard hear it at first and also the camera is a bit shakey at the end.But the music fitted in well and the opening of doors was done well. well done

  10. All the elements of the task seem to be there which is good. The use of music is excellent and especially when Holly puts her earphones in and the music gets louder. Its actually my favourite video so far with one more left to watch however I felt the conversation was a little bit quiet which let it down a little bit and Chloe looks like a dope but you have to love Chloe. Fix up look shharp. Very well done!!
