By the end of next week (Friday 1st October), you should all have completed the following tasks:
- Set up a blog on Blogspot and posted your response to the Movie Treatment task
- Shot, edited, rendered and uploaded a video demonstrating a number of different shot-types (as a member of a group)
- As part of your blog entry, you should mention any difficulties you had and how you overcame them
- Shot, edited, rendered and uploaded a video demonstrating a number of different types of camera movement (again, as a member of a group)
- Again, as part of your blog entry, you should mention any difficulties you had and how you overcame them
If you have any problems with any aspect of any of these tasks, please speak to me or e-mail me (chris.earl@fram.durham.sch.uk).
The video above was produced using Xtranormal, a script-to-video rendering site. It's free to use at a basic level and allows you to create simple animatics with basic camera angles. It took me about 10 minutes to programme the video above.
